PACK CAMPOUTS

Pack 122 tries to camp or hold an outdoor pack event twice a year in the Fall and Spring.

These events are usually broken into distinct portions so people who cannot participate during the day or stay overnight can still come and enjoy.

daytime activities (hiking, sports, crafts, games)
dinner activities (cooking over the campfire & tent setup).
evening activities:(Pack meeting, Bobcat ceremony in the Fall)
night/morning (capture-the-flag, sleep, breakfast & exit)

 

BELZER DAY CAMP

What: Cub Scout Day Camp

Cub Scout Day Camp is a week of fun activities at Camp Belzer and offers boys a chance to make crafts, learn gun safety and shoot BB guns and bows and arrows, as well as swim, boat, play games, learn about nature, be outside with their friends and most importantly have fun. At the end of each program day , Cub Scouts go home. On Friday night, scouts and their families may participate in an optional overnight campout.

When: June 25-29, 2012

Daily Schedule:
Monday thru Thursday: 8:45am - 3:05pm
Friday: 12:45 p.m. Camp begins, 6:15 p.m. Family picnic, 7:35 p.m. Campfire
8:30 p.m. Family optional overnighter camp out begins and all others head home
Saturday: 7:30 a.m. Saturday – Overnighter, breakfast and then depart

Optional Overnight Cost:
Friday Overnight Fee $7.00 per person
*Entire family is welcome, scouts must have one parent spend the night

Tagalongs:
Parents are allowed to bring siblings, but the parent must attend as a camp helper. The cost for tagalongs is $5.00 per day and the tagalong is not eligible for bb guns, archery, or canoeing.

CAMP K Webelos Camp

What: Camp Kikthawenund (Camp K) Webelos Adventure Camp
Camp Kikthawenund, located in Frankton, Indiana near Anderson, is the council’s resident Webelos Scout camp, which caters to the adventurous minds of nine and ten year-old boys. This popular offering gives Webelos a four-day, three-night camping experience

When: June 20-23rd, 2012 (Wednesday- Saturday morning) Camper's check in on Wednesday at a scheduled time (sometime after noon) and check out Saturday by 9:00am.

Who: Webelo I Scouts and current Bear Scouts (because they will graduate to Webelos Scouts by Summer Camp time)

Where: Camp Kikthawenund (Camp K) located 20 minutes northeast of Noblesville

Tagalongs:
Some parents are always needed to chaperone but, the Adventure Camp experience is designed for older boys and, as such, unable to accomodate tagalongs.
